Cala in Lima is a truly unforgettable dining experience. The stunning oceanfront location offers breathtaking views of the Pacific — especially at sunset — creating an incredible ambiance for any meal. The menu blends fresh, contemporary Peruvian seafood with creative fusion touches, and the flavors are consistently excellent. Exceptional service and beautifully presented dishes make Cala a must-visit spot in Lima, perfect for a romantic dinner, special occasion, or relaxed lunch by the sea.
Extremely good views (especially if you get a evening 5-6 pm reservation) and great seafood. The portions are good and their is plenty of seafood to choose from, with a few non-seafood items. The prices are higher than average but the views justify it quite well. Apart from the view our favorites were the cala ceviche, razor clams and the gnocchi.
Great food. Fantastic view of the ocean! Bring a telephoto for awesome seagull photos.
I visited Cala for a drink while enjoying their iconic beach sunset, but unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling my best after a long flight. The staff was incredibly kind, and our waiter, whose name I wish I remembered, went above and beyond by asking the chef to prepare a homemade-style soup for me. It was exactly what I needed, warm, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere at the restaurant was truly amazing, and the sunset was nothing short of breathtaking. I can’t wait to come back and fully experience their menu. 100% recommend!

Celebrated my boyfriends birthday lunch at Cala and it was nothing short of amazing! The food was great, the atmosphere is out of this world, and the service was lovely. Beautiful restaurant right on the water. Everything we ate was beyond delicious down to the lettuce! Our server Juancarlos was very kind and attentive ☺️ ceviche is the best
We had such a wonderful experience at Ca La, and a big part of that was thanks to Antonio. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with such warmth and friendliness that instantly made us feel welcome. Throughout the evening, his service was attentive without ever being intrusive, and his genuine kindness made our dinner truly memorable. Antonio went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and his thoughtful recommendations made our meal even more special. It’s rare to meet someone who combines professionalism with such a personal touch—he really made us feel like guests of honor. Thank you, Antonio, for turning a great dinner into an unforgettable experience. We will always remember it!
The only negative comment would be that there was quite a bit of trash on the beach below. It’s a public beach but still contributes to the overall restaurant experience. Other than that everything was excellent. Antonio and Luis took great care of us.
This place is, hands down, a must, when visiting Lima. Right on the beach with amazing views but the food! Outstanding! We ordered an entire fish (lenguado) which they made into ceviche, and jalea (fried fish) and we ordered seafood rice as a side. Perfect for 3 people! I will definitely be back.
